Todd is the largest private sector provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul to the US Navy for ships home
ported in or visiting Puget Sound, WA.
|
Todd holds both MSRA (Master Ship Repair Agreement) and ABR (Agreement for Boat Repair) contracts with the Navy.
Additionally, Todd holds multi-year, multi-option contracts with the Navy to perform all major availabilities and
emergent (voyage) repairs on all Combatants and Command Logistics Forces ships home ported in the Puget Sound region.
These include FFG's, DDG's, and AOE's. Todd also has a long-term contract with the Navy to perform all types of
non-nuclear repair and overhaul on Aircraft Carriers (CVN's) home ported at or temporarily assigned

to NAVSTA Everett,
Naval Base Kisap-Bremerton (NBK-B), or Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF).
Todd is also an awardee of a Multiple Award Contract (MAC)
with the Navy, which is an IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) for a variety of maintenance and repair work
on all of the Navy's other small boats and yard craft. Todd shares the work under these contracts by subcontracting
with a wide variety of other ship repair and maintenance providers in the region. Todd has partnerships and teaming
agreements with several of these companies.
In recent years, the support role to PSNS & IMF provided by Todd has increased. PSNS & IMF has integrated Todd
into planning and scheduling, as well as production, of CVN availabilities. Todd is a participant in the Navy's
Team One for Aircraft Carrier Maintenance program.
Recently, Todd has entered a new area of ship repair for our company. Todd is now providing skilled craftsmen from
several marine trades to work onboard and provide non-nuclear support to Electric Boat and PSNS & IMF in the conversion of Ohio class Trident
submarines (designated SSBN) to conventional, non-strategic weapons platforms with the designation SSGN.

Todd is highly responsive to the Navy's changing needs and new programs such as FRP (Fleet Response Plan). As
the Navy moves to greater fleet readiness through continuous maintenance and shorter scheduled availabilities, Todd
is working with the Navy to change the way we do business to meet those needs. Todd provides flexibility
and quick response to changes in schedule, duration, and location for both scheduled maintenance availabilities,
continuous maintenance, and emergent repairs. Much of this work is performed at the main Todd site on Harbor Island.
However, Todd routinely mobilizes and projects a workforce of just a few, to over 600, craft personnel to work
off-site in Everett and Bremerton. These operations are supported by Todd manufacturing centers, facilities, warehousing,
and transportation infrastructure.
Todd systems and infrastructure support the Navy's needs and requirements. Todd has and maintains
approved Quality Assurance, Accounting and Billing, and Earned Value Management (EVMS) systems.
